SUMMARY:

It is mindboggling that a 1.5 hour ferry ride takes you to another continent; you get off the boat in a completely different world. Traveling in a country with people of such different mentality and behavior was a completely new experience. It took a while to adjust which made the journey all the more interesting.

Morocco offers something for every taste: cliffs and sandy beaches, high desert and sand dunes, buzzling cities rich in history and architecture, high mountains and even ski resorts. The palate is teased by an unknown variety of spices and flavors, and a trip to any city is an adventure for eye, ear and nose. The people are extremely hospitable although the hassling is a huge nuisance. Supposedly, thanks to the "tourist police", who ensure that visitors are not bothered excessively, it has gotten much better over the years already.

We were at almost 3000 meters (10,000 feet) altitude, cruised through different desert environments and explored the Atlantic coast.

And as if all those impressions weren't enough, we had to duck from low-flying jets in Switzerland (pic 02), went from summer through fall (pic03) into winter within two days, and arrived to the leaveless trees in Munich (pic 04).
