American Off Roader
(English translation of the text and picture descriptions in the Japanese article)

Sven owned a Jeep Wrangler before but wanted something slightly bigger where he could sleep. He bought a Cherokee, and when he got stuck once decided to upgrade. If he had to buy another truck it would be another Cherokee.
He does not only use this rig off-road but also as a daily driver.

Sven likes to take his vehicle to the Mojave desert, challenge the Rubicon, tackle obstacles around Calico (like Lower Duran) or any trails which cross his way.
The truck upgrades came over time with trail experience. Everything on this Cherokee is about performance and looks.
A Skyjacker Rock Ready Suspension provides 6 inches of lift, enough for 33'' Pro Comp Xterrain tires. The vehicle features ARB Air lockers and Durango 4x4 Front and rear bumpers. A Warn winch is mounted up front. One spare tire is located on the roof rack while another resides on the rear bumper swing arm. An Air Lift suspension can be controlled from the driver seat. Compressors provide air for tire inflation.
These are perfect modifications for off-roading. It might sound over-prepared but America is a huge country with long distances.
Sven enjoys his truck every day.
Sven published articles in the March, April, May and June issues of Off-Road Adventure Magazine and his website www.xxxpedition.com provides information about the rig, performances and travel.
The perfect modification - an overall balance

This 94 Cherokee has been in Off-Road Adventures Magazine many times and is an icon for 4-wheelers. It has been on all difficult trails throughout the USA.
The customization is not only for the looks but for performance and reliability for a big country like America.
This should be a good example for Japanese Cherokees.
